The third meeting of the Hungarian-Saudi Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission (JEC) was held on March 24, 2021 via video conference. The Hungarian delegation was led by H.E. Tamás Vargha, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and his Saudi partner was H.E. Eid M. Al Thaqafi, Undersecretary for Political and Economic Affairs of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary is following with ever-growing concern the recent airstrikes perpetrated by the Yemeni Houti forces against civilian and oil industrial targets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hungary condemns the most resolutely these attacks and threats in unison with the international community.

László Moholy-Nagy, the great intellectual and technical innovator and world-famous Hungarian artist was born on July 20, 125 years ago. His oeuvre is well known in many countries around the world, his works are auctioned at record prices and have been exhibited in recent years in the largest museums in London, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles attracting huge audiences. However, few are aware of the roots of this decisive, experimental, innovative creator of the 20th century, namely that he was Hungarian.
